Prostia mea. Pentru detalii tehnice, uite ce am postat pe un forum de specialitate:
October the 13th. A day marked in my heli's calendar with RED. Had my first crash today and it was quite a nasty one. It was my third maneuver or so for the day and it all started off with the heli going to the left, then took a wide half circle to the right to see the heli pass in front of me with it's nose pointing to the right. All OK up to this point, I did all this before. But I thought, hey, instead of bailing out and getting tail in as I usually did, let's try adding a left semicircle. Wrong! Got disoriented at some point and I instantly knew what came next before it happened. All hail the simulator. However, as opposed to the sim it seemed that this was the longest half a second of my life. Mashed on the gimballs without any luck, and the next thing I saw was my dear T-Rex plunging head towards the ground. Lucky that the ground was the spongy type as I found one blade half buried. The other one flew a few meters... The damage is on the "usual" side: the woodie blades went to heaven of course, the flybar was a nice S afterward, main shaft got bent, tail boom got bent, main gear stripped (hit the throttle hold 2 seconds too late), feathering shaft got bent (actually not really sure if it's bent, but better stay on the safe side), 2 linkages got ripped apart and one tail blade got chipped. Of what I can tell, the cyclic servos survived and so did the tail rotor because the tail hit the ground with its other side. Well, that'll be around 50 GBP over at The Model Heli Store, thank you... :(
